Fast bowler Ashok Dinda retired from all forms of cricket

 India fast bowler Ashok Dinda on Tuesday announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. Dinda has played 13 ODIs and 9 T20I matches for India. Dinda has taken 12 wickets in ODIs and 17 in T20s.

"I am announcing my retirement from all formats of cricket today. I have sent an e-mail to the BCCI and GCA," Dinda, 36, told a press conference. Playing for India was my dream. I played for Bengal and I got a chance to represent India. I thank the BCCI for giving me the opportunity to play for India.

Dinda represented Delhi Daredevils, Kolkata Knight Riders, Pune Warriors, Rising Pune Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premium League (IPL). The fast bowler is 68 wickets faster in 78 IPL matches with a strike rate of 22.20.

Medium pacer Dinda, who made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2010, took a total of 420 wickets in 116 first-class matches. During this time he made 5 wickets 26 times. Dinda made his T20 international debut against Sri Lanka in 2009.

Dinda recently played for Goa in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021. Dinda made his first-class cricket debut against Maharashtra in November 2005. Dinda's best bowling performance in first-class cricket is 8 for 123, which he took against North Zone in the 2011-12 season. Dinda is 151 wickets faster in 98 List A matches.
