Mobile number register required
The Election Commission of India has launched a digital voter ID card to facilitate voters. Under this you will not need to print your water ID. You can keep a digital copy in your mobile. To download this digital voter ID card, the voter's mobile number must be registered on the Election Commission's website.
This is the process
Click on Election Commission website Voterportal.eci.gov.in to download Digital Water ID. Now enter your account number. Then enter the number or reference number to login. As soon as you do that, OTP will come to your register number. You will be able to download the digital card as soon as you fill it. However KYC details must be completed to complete this process.
