Ahmedabad: Cricketer Jaydev Unadkat, who led the Saurashtra cricket team to the Ranji Trophy title, tied the knot with High Court lawyer Rini Kantaria today. The wedding was held at the Madhuban Resort in Anand between close family members. The event was attended by many people associated with the cricket world.
For the first time, Saurashtra has won the Ranji Trophy under the captaincy of Jaydev Unadkat. Saurashtra has won the Ranji Trophy for the first time in 70 years. The role of Captain Unadkat was very important in this victory of Saurashtra. After Saurashtra became the Ranji champions on March 13, 2020, Jaydev Unadkat and Rini Kantaria got engaged on March 15. Due to Corona's condition, only a few guests were invited to the wedding.
Apart from members of the Saurashtra cricket team, former BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah also attended the wedding and blessed the newlyweds. It may be mentioned here that Rini is working as a lawyer in the Gujarat High Court. After the marriage is over, Jaydev Unadkat will start preparing for the Vijay Hazare Trophy and then he will be ready for the IPL.
