Lungs Cancer: For the last decade in India, the risk of cancer is increasing every year. The rate of death in the patients of this disease is also increasing. But lung cancer is becoming a cause of concern. The graph of its cases has been climbing. It is a matter of concern that this cancer is affecting not only smokers but also non-smokers. There are also a large number of women among them. All these facts have come to the fore in a recent research. In such a situation, doctors have asked people to be alert about this disease.

It has been told in the research that compared to other cancers in the country, most deaths are due to lung cancer. In the last few years, there has not been any significant decrease in the death toll from the disease. Young people are also included in those suffering from this cancer. Doctors of Mendata Hospital have done a research on patients with lung cancer. It has been found that 20 percent of lung cancer patients are less than 50 years of age, while 10 percent of patients are less than 40 years of age. Of these, 50 percent are those who have never smoked. That is, these people have become victims of lung cancer due to some other reason.

Lungs cancer spreading due to these reasons

People believe that smoking is a major cause of lung cancer, but research has found that this cancer has also been found in young people who do not smoke. The reason for this is air pollution. According to research, cases of lung cancer are coming in both men and women. Of the total lung cancer patients, 30 percent are women. The matter of concern is that all these women were not smokers.

Most of the cases are reported in advanced stage

70 to 80 percent of lung cancer cases are reported in advanced stage. That is, the disease is detected in the last stage, due to which it becomes very difficult to treat the patients. Out of the cases that have come to the fore, 40 percent of the disease could not be detected because TB disease was identified in them earlier. Due to this, the patients continued to be treated for TB only. When TB was not under control, the doctors did a biopsy test, in which cancer was revealed.
