Sisedia is changing statements again and again, ED took the names of Sanjay Singh and Kejriwal in the court

Delhi: While probing the money trail in the liquor scam, the ED interrogated Manish Sisodia in Tihar Jail on Thursday. During this, the ED had arrested him saying that he was not cooperating in the investigation.

Delhi: The debate on the bail and remand of former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has started in the capital's Rouse Avenue Court . Till now Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh were not named in the Delhi liquor scam, but now the ED has duly taken the names of these two leaders in the court. The ED said that both of them also had full knowledge of the matter and their consent was also there. The ED team presented Sisodia in the court on Friday afternoon.

The ED said that this arrangement was made later. The ED said in its argument that although this decision has been told by the Group of Ministers, but the fact is that apart from one man, no one else was aware of it. Presenting its argument in the court, the ED said that the entire syndicate was headed by Vijay Nair. Kavita had met Vijay Nair only. In this regard, the ED has presented a screenshot of the WhatsApp chat between K Kavita and Vijay Nair.

Presenting the argument in the court, the ED told that all this was happening at the behest of Manish Sisodia. In this, the liquor traders were benefited illegally, while no proposal in this regard was neither placed in the meeting of the Group of Ministers nor discussed on other platforms. Rather, only Sisodia knew about it.

Let us inform that the ED had arrested Sisodia from Tihar Jail on Thursday evening allegedly in the Excise Policy scam. On the other hand, this morning, by filing an application in the special court, a demand was made to send Sisodia on police custody remand for ten days. With this, the ED has argued in the court that the rule was changed only at the behest of Sisodia. In this game of corruption, Manish Sisodia has to be interrogated face to face. The ED told the court that arrangements were made in the excise policy for the earnings of certain businessmen. It was decided to increase the margin to 12 per cent.

According to the ED, Sisodia was questioned for eight hours before his arrest, but he is not cooperating in the investigation of the case. Because of this he had to be arrested. Along with these allegations, the ED has also demanded police custody remand of Sisodia in the court. The case is being heard from the court of Special Judge MK Nagpal of Rouse Avenue Court.

Dinesh Arora was distributing money

The ED has also placed in the court the statement of Dinesh Arora, who turned approver on behalf of the CBI. In this, Dinesh Arora has confessed that he was looking into the distribution of the amount. Meaning that he is deciding how much amount is to be given to whom. The ED told the court that Dinesh Arora was also called by Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh. He was instructed to cooperate in the elections.

The arrest took place on 26 February

During the appearance of Sisodia in Rouse Avenue Court, the bail application filed on his behalf in the CBI case will also be heard. This application was filed on behalf of Manish Sisodia on March 6. At that time, the court had fixed the date of March 10 for the hearing of the application while seeking response from the CBI. At the same time, Manish Sisodia was sent to jail in judicial custody.

Hearing on bail

Politics has also become hot regarding the bail application of Sisodia. On the one hand, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made a big attack on BJP, taking the guise of ED's arrest. He said that today Sisodia would have got bail in the CBI case. The reason is that the CBI does not have any strong ground to stop his bail. But BJP released ED to keep Sisodia in jail and he has been arrested again.
