In such a situation, Air India is likely to buy a total of 840 aircraft. This deal is likely to strengthen India's relations with America and France.

Air India has signed a deal for 220 aircraft with another aircraft manufacturer Boeing, just hours after signing a deal for 250 aircraft with aircraft manufacturer Airbus on Tuesday. US President Joe Biden has described this deal with Boeing as a 'historic deal'. On this deal with Boeing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this will deepen and strengthen the relationship between India and America.

Now the days of Air India will change

Earlier, the company had announced a mega deal with Airbus of France. This order is under mega deal only. In fact, when Air India was acquired by the Tata Group, it was believed that now the days of Maharaja would change. Now it is expected from this mega deal that lakhs of new job opportunities will also be created in India.

Airline deals with Airbus

Air India's Chief Commercial and Transformation Officer Nipun Agarwal said that this contract reflects the Tata group's goal of transforming Air India into a world class airline and connecting India directly to every major city in the world.

In a conference, Chandrasekaran said that a deal has been signed with Airbus for the purchase of these aircraft. Apart from others, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron were also present in this meeting. Tata Group had acquired Air India in January last year. After this acquisition, Tata Group is taking different measures to take this airline forward.

Air India has huge potential and efforts are on to make the group an important international airline. Air India Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Campbell Wilson said this on Monday. Addressing the media virtually, Wilson said that the process of integration of expansion with Air India is on and now approval from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) is awaited. He told that apart from this, the process of integration of Air India Express and AIX Connect (formerly AirAsia India) is also going on.
