Now this rule will be applicable from October 1. How does it work?
Now the question is, what happens in the airbag that it becomes active or opens as soon as the car collides. Let us tell you that there is a complete system of airbags, in which some sensors are also included. These sensors are mounted near the bonnet of the car and as soon as an accident happens, those sensors activate the airbag. After this the airbags come out and fill up. This work happens very fast. The speed of the airbag is believed to be up to 300 kilometers per hour.
How does it bloom?
Actually, what happens is that behind the airbag is a cylinder of sodium azide gas. It is in the form of solid chemical and its special thing is that if it is heated rapidly, it immediately turns into gas. A slight sodium azide gasses form nitrogen CAS. Wires are connected from the sensor to the gas cylinder and when a car accident occurs, they supply electric current to the cylinder and this causes solid chemical gas to form and the airbags swell. The special thing is that this whole process takes a few microseconds, due to which it is used.
Where are they engaged?
Airbags are fitted according to the seating area of each passenger. The airbag of the driver's seat is in the steering and it inflates during an accident and the passenger's head is saved from colliding with the steering or glass. At the same time, the airbag of the seat next to it is mounted on the dashboard ahead.
