Ingredients to make Gourd-Peanut Soup
Lauki – 1
Groundnut – 2 tbsp
Ginger – 1 tsp
Rajgira Flour – 1 tbsp
Mint Leaves – 5-6
Green Chillies – 1
Black Pepper Powder – 1 pinch
Olive Oil – 1 tsp
Cream – 1 tbsp
rock salt - as per taste
Method of making
Gourd-Peanut Soup To make Gourd-Peanut Soup, first clean the peanuts and roast them in a pan. After this, take them out in a vessel and mash them and separate the peels from the grains. Now cut the gourd into pieces. After this, put pieces of gourd, chopped green chillies, ginger in the cooker. Add a pinch of rock salt and roasted peanuts to it. After this, add water according to the need and put the lid of the cooker and apply 2 whistles.
Now put 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add Rajgira flour to it and fry the flour on low flame. Take care not to fry the flour too much. After the flour is cooked, put it in the gourd soup in the cooker and mix it with the help of a blender. After this, add mint leaves and black pepper powder to it and let it cook for 2-3 minutes more. Now take out the soup in a serving bowl and garnish it with cream and serve hot.
