Tiranga Dhokla Recipe: Celebrate Independence with Tiranga Dhokla, know its recipe

Ingredients of Tricolor Dhokla

250 grams - Semolina

One cup – Besan

2 - Tomato

Oil

1 cup - curd

2 to 3 tsp – grated fresh coconut

2 - lemon

4 - Green chili

tsp turmeric powder

15 curry leaves

One teaspoon – Mustard seeds

One teaspoon – Sesame

1 tsp – eno fruit salt

according to taste - salt

How to make Tricolor Dhokla

Step – 1 – Prepare Batter of Three Different Colors

Take out the semolina in three separate bowls.

Step – 2 – Prepare Green Batter

Now wash and grind the spinach. Put it in a bowl of semolina. Add some chili to it. Mix it well.

Step – 3 – Prepare saffron colored batter

Make tomato puree. Put it in another bowl of semolina and mix it well.

Step – 4 – White Batter

You will not need any color for this. Pour lemon juice in all the bowls. Add salt to everything. Mix the paste well.

Step – 5 – Prepare the batter of all three colors

Now keep the three colored batter covered for 10 to 15 minutes. This will cause swelling.

Step 6 - Heat the water

Place a mesh stand in a vessel. Add 3 cups of water to it. Keep it covered to heat. Let the water evaporate.

Step – 7 – Make Dhokla

Now apply oil in the plate for making dhokla. Place butter paper over it. Now first of all add green colored batter. Then add white colored batter and then add saffron colored batter. Place the plate on the stand. Let the dhokla cook.

Step – 8- Dhokla is ready

When the dhokla is cooked, take it out. Cut it. After this serve the family with chutki. Everyone will like this dhokla very much.
