In the last 24 hours in India, 3.92 lakh new cases of Coronavirus have been reported, which is much less than 4,01,993 cases of infection a day before. According to data released by the Union Health Ministry, 3689 people died of Corona infection on the previous day.

The Health Ministry said that after the arrival of 3,92,488 new cases, the total number of infected people across the country has now increased to 1,95,57,457. After the death of 3689 people from Corona on the previous day, the number of people who died of infection in the country has crossed 2,15,542. The ministry said that there are currently 33,49,644 active cases of corona in the country.

According to the data, 3,07,865 people were discharged after recovering from the corona in the last 24 hours, after which the number of people recovering from the corona has now increased to a total of 1,59,92,271. Vaccination of all people above the age of 18 years has started from May 1 across the country.

According to the information, 18,26,219 vaccines of Corona virus were installed on Saturday. After which the total vaccination figure has crossed 15,68,16,031. At the same time, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that a total of 29,01,42,339 sample tests for corona virus have been done in India till Saturday, out of which 18,04,954 samples were tested yesterday.

Meanwhile, experts of the Kovid-19 task force told the central government that there is a need to impose strict lockdowns in the country now. Expert said that the pace of corona infection in the country is increasing rapidly. The number of people who died of infection is also seen increasing day by day. To get control over all these, it is necessary that a strict lockdown is announced in the country.

Experts said that to prevent human-to-human spread of the virus, it is necessary to control the growing cases. Experts say that the caseload can be reduced if the spread of corona infection is stopped even for two weeks. He said that this will not only reduce the death rate, but will also stop the corona transmission cycle.
