Vijay Sethupathi is disappointed even after doing a 1000 crore film! Will not do multi-starrer projects now

South megastar Vijay Sethupathi always remains in the news for his films. The actor has appeared in many South as well as Bollywood films. Meanwhile, his 50th film 'Maharaja' is ready for release. Recently, Vijay Sethupathi said in a statement that he will not work in multi-starrer films.

South megastar Vijay Sethupathi is in a lot of discussions these days about his upcoming thriller 'Maharaja'. This film is going to be released in theaters on June 14. The actor's fans are eagerly waiting for his film. Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi has revealed that he is tired of sharing the screen with the stars. He now neither wants to work in a multi-starrer film nor to play the role of a villain.

Recently, during his interview with Hindustan Times, Vijay spoke openly about sharing the screen with actors. The South star said, "No, I think I am tired of such films. This is because I have had some good and bad experiences in the Indian film industry. According to the actor, the work he did was not appreciated and he was underrated compared to others, which disappointed him a lot.

Vijay Sethupathi said – “When you sign a film with another star, you clearly know that you have been signed for a role. But sometimes no matter how hard you have worked and performed well, at the end of the day it is not given much importance. Because you also contribute as much to the film as the star, but no one talks about it.”

Not only this, during this interview, Vijay also talked about his decision of not playing the role of a villain. The actor said that he was offered many villain roles but he turned them down because he did not want to be typecast by playing the same kind of character again and again. Vijay also said that he also wants to direct films. It is worth noting that Maharaja is Vijay Sethupathi's 50th film.
