On the 127th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has targeted the policies of the Central Government. Mamta Banerjee has said that Netaji created the Planning Commission but today the Government has abolished the Planning Commission. Planning Commission was renamed as NITI Aayog. Mamta Banerjee raised the question why there is no Planning Commission for the country today?
Mamta Banerjee said that the government has created Niti Aayog but today there is no policy. He said that Planning Commission was a documentary name but why it was changed, no purpose was understood. Mamta Banerjee said that Niti Aayog has been formed but it does not have any policies. Just a wax doll sings – Mann ki baat, dil ki baat.
No holiday in the name of patriots
Mamta Banerjee said that today there is a holiday for political campaigns in this country but there is no holiday on the birthdays of patriots. He said that those who taught us to fight, taught us to live. There is no national holiday in his name. Mamta Banerjee said that Gandhiji had called Netaji the first patriot. I tried for twenty years but his birthday could not be declared a national holiday, I regret it.
People forgot Netaji's birthday
Mamta Banerjee said that before the country became independent, Netaji had declared independence by forming Azad Hind Fauj. He built Shaheed Dweep, Swaraj Dweep in Andaman. Along with this he said that the leader of the country is the one who has Hindus on one side and Muslims, Jains and Christians on the other. Who has the support of all communities and religions.
The Chief Minister said that we have forgotten the contributions of our great men. If we had followed him, the picture of the country would have been different today. He said that Netaji, Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Paramhansa played a big role in the building of the society and the making of the Constitution. But unfortunately, those great people got lost while fighting. No one remembers today's birth anniversary but I know his birthday.

Mamata Banerjee said that before coming to power, the BJP government had said that it would reveal the secrets of Netaji's files but now it does not remember its promises. He said that if we had followed what Netaji said before the country became independent, the condition of the country would have improved.
