AIIMS Delhi: AIIMS staff will reach the hospital immediately in case of emergency, started this new service

AIIMS Delhi: The hospital administration has decided to introduce electric staff cars for the staff living in the areas around the AIIMS campus. Under this, the hospital staff will be able to reach AIIMS with the help of electric cars. These cars will be in service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

AIIMS Delhi News: The work of increasing facilities for patients and doctors in AIIMS is continuing. In this sequence, the hospital administration has started the work of running electric staff cars 24 hours within the residential premises of the hospital. This facility has been started for the staff living in Ayur Vigyan Nagar, Kidwai Nagar, Asiad Village and Ansari Nagar West around the AIIMS campus. This was done because the clinical team members living in these areas had to wait for buses or other means of transport to reach AIIMS to see the patients, which took a lot of time. To solve this problem, AIIMS Has started electric staff cars.

With this, in case of emergency, the clinical staff of the hospital will not depend on any public transport to reach the hospital. AIIMS's electric staff car will pick them up from their homes and deliver them to the hospital on time. With this, even needy patients will be able to get timely treatment. According to the hospital administration, these cars will now be available on 24×7 basis in Ayur Vigyan Nagar, Kidwai Nagar, Asiad Village and Ansari Nagar West residential complexes.

Will get mobile number

Drivers will be provided with a mobile number to enable staff to easily access these transport services. This mobile number will be given to all the staff employees living in the official AIIMS residence outside the main campus. Any staff who has to come to AIIMS by electric vehicle will be able to contact the doctor by calling this number.

According to the statement issued by AIIMS, the purpose of starting the electric staff car service is so that the hospital staff can reach the patients on time. The problem that was being faced due to not getting public transport on time will no longer be there. The hospital administration had also started free transport service for patients a few months ago. Under this, transport service was run from AIIMS campus to AIIMS Jhajjar. Under this, cancer patients from AIIMS Delhi can go to Jhajjar campus for free treatment.
