Ingredients to make Dahi Samosa Chaat

1 cup flour

11/2 tsp butter

1/2 tsp ajwain

salt as required

3 mashed, peeled potatoes

3/4 tsp red chili powder

3/4 gram coriander powder

2 onions

1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

1/2 tsp cumin

Refined oil as required

2 pinch black salt

1/2 tsp chaat masala

31/2 cups hung curd

as required Tamarind paste

For garnishing

Save as needed

2 tbsp beetroot cut into strips

2 tbsp carrots cut into strips

1 tbsp coriander leaves

How to make Dahi Samosa Chaat

To make this wonderful chaat recipe, knead a soft dough by mixing flour, salt, butter and carom seeds with a little water. Rest the kneaded dough for 15 to 20 minutes.

When you microwave the potatoes, blanch the peas for about 2 minutes. After melting the potatoes in the microwave, mash them and peel them. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions and all the spices and fry them. Then put boiled peas and mashed potatoes in it. Mix the whole mixture on medium to high heat. After the mixture is mixed, remove it from the heat and let it cool down.

In a heavy bottomed pan, preheat the refined oil for frying. Now take out a portion from the dough and roll it into a smooth flat ball. With the help of a spoon, place appropriate amount of stuffing in the center of the circle and cover the stuffing with dough in desired shape. Seal all the sides and carefully drop into the hot oil for deep frying.

Beat the hung curd with a little sugar and red chili powder. Take out the fried samosa in a plate and cut it into several pieces. Put the hung curd on top of the samosa and add tamarind chutney. Garnish with sev, green coriander, julienne carrot and beetroot and sprinkle chaat masala and roasted cumin powder over it. You are all set to enjoy this delicious chaat recipe.
