However the money was not returned. In such a situation, Zee Studios is now planning to take legal action as well.
The film was made in a budget of 60 crores
The budget of Thalaivi has been said to be around Rs 60 crore. However, this film was able to do a business of only about 8.5 crores in India and abroad. The film was directed by Vijay. In this, the character of ADMK founder and former CM MG Ramachandran was played by Arvind Swamy.
