InMobi started in the year 2007 as a leading advertising agency. Naveen Tiwari, Mohit Saxena, Amit Gupta and Abhay Singhal started it together. Initially, the company launched SMS-based services on mobile only under the name mKhoj. But only after a year it was changed to InMobi.

Infact the founders of InMobi recognized the increasing usage of internet on mobile and already understood the power of the growing market through it. Therefore, the company has planned to focus on advertising on mobile as much as possible. The company has expanded from America to China and all over Europe.

Unique business strategy

InMobi now launches MIP, a new e-commerce platform that brings together shopping and advertising. Due to which re-marketing is encouraged. In December 2020, InMobi's first content platform Glance raised $145 million in funding in partnership with Google. Glance later acquired Shop101.

Know the founders of InMobi

Naveen Tiwari – He is the founder and CEO of InMobi Technology Company. He did his BA in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT) in 2000. Studied at Harvard Business School (HBS) for Master's degree in Business Administration.

Mohit Saxena – Mohit is the co-founder of InMobi. Completed BA degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Previously worked in AT&T in Telecom sector. Mohit has a big contribution in equipping InMobi with modern technology.

Amit Gupta – Amit is the co-founder of InMobi. He completed his BA in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2000.

Abhay Singhal – Abhay is the co-founder of InMobi Group and CEO of InMobi Marketing Cloud. Completed BA degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT). In 2018, he was recognized as India's Most Influential Young Entrepreneur by Economic Times 40-under-40.
