Delhi Liquor Scam: ED interrogated Kavitha for 9 hours, summoned again on March 16

K Kavita reached the ED office at 11 am where she was questioned for 9 hours. She came out at 8 pm.

Kavita, daughter of BRS MLC and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, appeared before the ED on Saturday in the Delhi liquor scam case . During this, he was questioned for about 9 hours in the ED office. The ED has now summoned him again on March 16. K Kavita reached the ED office at 11 am on Saturday. After 9 hours of questioning, she left at 8 pm.

Giving information about this, officials said that Kavita left from the agency's headquarters located on APJ Abdul Kalam Road at around eight o'clock in the night. She had reached the ED office from her father's official residence on Tughlaq Road, one and a half kilometer from here.

BRS supporters had demonstrated

A large number of security forces were deployed in the ED office before the presentation of the poem. During this, BRS supporters also demonstrated on APJ Abdul Kalam Road. Let me tell you, earlier Kavita was asked to appear on March 9, but she did not go ahead with the pre-scheduled program to join the fast on Friday, demanding the passage of the long-pending Women's Reservation Bill in the budget session of Parliament. Due to this, an appeal was made to give a new date.

Plan to confront Ramachandran Pillai

Kavita was called by the agency so that she and Hyderabad-based businessman Arun Ramachandran Pillai could be brought face to face. Pillai was arrested this week. Pillai is in ED custody till March 12. He will be produced in the court again on March 13. Pillai is a partner in a company named Robin Distilleries LLP. ED claims that this company K. The alleged liquor cartel linked to Kavita and others represents South Group.

It is alleged that the South Group had paid a bribe of around Rs 100 crore to the Aam Aadmi Party to get more market share in Delhi under the Delhi Excise Policy 2020-21 (which has now been repealed). ED has so far arrested 12 people in this case, including Manish Sisodia.
