Large paneer cubes – 20

Roasted gram flour – 1/4 cup

Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp

Ajwain – 1/4 tsp

Red chili powder – 1 tsp

Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp

Oil - as required

Salt - as per taste

Method of making Amritsari Paneer Tikka

To make Amritsari Paneer Tikka, first cut two-inch square pieces of paneer. After this, put gram flour in a pan and roast it till it becomes light brown. Now take a mixing bowl and put roasted gram flour in it. Now add celery, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, 2 teaspoons oil and salt as per taste to the gram flour and mix it well. After this, add three to four tablespoons of water to the mixture and mash it.

When the thick mixture is ready, put paneer pieces in it, wrap the prepared paste in it and leave it for 10 minutes to marinate. Meanwhile, put oil in a pan and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, add marinated paneer pieces and deep fry them. Fry the paneer pieces from side to side till they become golden fried. After this take them out in a plate. Similarly deep fry all the marinated paneer pieces. Tasty Amritsari Paneer Tikka is ready for starter.
