
Delhi: Indian Railways is getting modern. To show this, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has shared a picture on Twitter. He has written the caption with the picture, "This is Tejas Express." The Union minister shared a picture of a Tejas coach, which has modern seats and a screen on the table. The picture shared by the Railway Minister was highly appreciated by the people on social media and so far about 28 thousand likes have been received.
On the post of the Union Minister, a user wrote, “We should now say that – this is India. We have reached. Another user wrote that congratulations for the continuous changes in the railways… now it is the responsibility of the people to maintain it.
Tejas's speed of 200 kilometers per hour
Tejas Express is three semi-high speed fully air-conditioned train apart from Vande Bharat Express and Gatimaan Express launched by Indian Railways. Tejas Express can run on track at a maximum speed of 200 km/h, but due to track and safety reasons, the maximum speed so far has been 130 km/h. This train was inaugurated on 24 May 2017 from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai to Karmali in Goa.

Center's railway budget of 2.4 lakh crores
Union ministers often keep tweeting about the changes happening in the railways. Recently, he shared a video of Vande Bharat Express train passing through a tunnel in Lonavala, Maharashtra. Several central initiatives are underway for the redevelopment of the railways. Railway Minister Vaishnav recently announced that India's first hydrogen train and Vande Metro will be launched for people living near big cities, which will be a mini version of Vande Bharat Express. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has given the biggest ever allocation of Rs 2.40 lakh crore for the Railways in the Union Budget 2023-24.
