Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme is a Central Sector Scheme. Under this, the central government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year to eligible farmers in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 every four months.
Before Holi, the central government has given a huge gift to crores of marginal farmers of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released the 13th installment of PM Kisan Yojana. PM Modi released the 13th installment during a program in Belgami, Karnataka. The special thing is that this time the central government has spent Rs 16,800 crore for PM Kisan . It is being said that more than 8 crore farmers have taken advantage of the 13th installment.

This amount is sent directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. This scheme was introduced in February, 2019 but it was considered effective from December, 2018.
The total amount has crossed Rs 2.32 lakh crore
Let us inform that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on 24 February 2019 during a function in Gorakhpur. Till now PM Modi has released 13 installments of PM Kisan. Today he released an amount of Rs 16800 crore for the 13th installment. With this, the total amount transferred to the farmers' account has crossed Rs 2.32 lakh crore.
Rs 1.75 Lakh Crore disbursed to farmers during COVID-19 times
The 11th installment of PM Modi PM Kisan Yojana was released in May, 2022. While the 12th installment was released on 17 October. For the 12th instalment, the central government had spent Rs 16,000 crore. Whereas, 8 crore marginal farmers had taken advantage of the 12th installment. However, lakhs of ineligible farmers have fraudulently taken advantage of PM Kisan. Now the government is taking back the money after identifying those farmers. The special thing is that Rs 1.75 lakh crore has been distributed to the farmers during the Kovid-19 period.
If farmer brothers want to check their name in the list of PM Kisan, then follow the process mentioned below.
1. To check the name, first of all the beneficiaries have to visit the official website of PM Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in.
2. After the website is opened, click on Farner Corner.
3. Then, click on Beneficiaries List in Farner Corner.
4. After this enter all the necessary details including state, district, tehsil, block and village.
5. Now click on Get Report.
6. After this, the list of beneficiaries will appear on your screen.
