'Now BJP wants to snatch Lord Shiva also', politics on sixth Jyotirlinga

Assam and Maharashtra have come face to face regarding the sixth Jyotirlinga of India. The opposition party Congress has retaliated on the claims made by the Assam government regarding Jyotirlinga.

A political controversy has arisen over the claim made by the Assam government regarding the sixth Jyotirlinga of the country. On Tuesday, Maharashtra's opposition party Congress criticized his claim while besieging the Assam government and said that the Jyotirlinga located at Bhimashankar in Pune district is already recognized as the sixth Jyotirlinga in the country.

In fact, an advertisement was taken out by the Tourism Department of the Government of Assam, in which it has been claimed that the country's sixth Jyotirlinga is situated on the Dakini hill of the state. As soon as this advertisement came out, the politics of Maharashtra got hot. Maharashtra Congress General Secretary Sachin Sawant took a dig at the Assam government by tweeting.

'BJP wants to snatch Lord Shiva also'

Sawant said in a tweet, BJP wants to snatch Lord Shiva from Maharashtra as well. Now the BJP government of Assam has claimed that the Jyotirlinga of Bhimashankar is located in Assam and not in Pune district of Maharashtra. We strongly condemn this claim of the Assam government.

'BJP's fury is visible in the claims'

Sawant has also demanded the Maharashtra government to come clean and clear its stand on this issue. He said that action should be taken against the Assam government. The claims of the Assam government have hurt the sentiments of 12 crore people of Maharashtra. He said that BJP's anger against Maharashtra is visible once again.

Sule told theft of spiritual heritage

At the same time, NCP leader and MP Supriya Sule has also targeted the Assam government and BJP by tweeting. Sule asked, are BJP leaders determined to keep nothing for Maharashtra's share? First the industry and employment of the part of Maharashtra was stolen and now our cultural and spiritual heritage is about to be stolen….!
