Actually PM Modi has reached Karnataka where he was to inaugurate the National Youth Festival. Earlier, PM Modi took part in a road show among the people here. He was standing in his car and people were standing on both sides of the road to greet him. Meanwhile, a matter of lapse in security has come to the fore. Suddenly, in the middle of the roadshow, an unknown youth had reached very close to PM Modi. The youth also tried to garland the PM. But before that the SPG jawans pushed him back.

Modi held a roadshow here on Thursday just before inaugurating the National Youth Festival. During this, people standing in queues on both sides of the road warmly welcomed him. Standing on the running board of his moving car, Modi waved to the crowd and accepted their greetings. During this, many of the people standing on both sides of the road were seen raising slogans of Modi, Modi and Bharat Mata Ki Jai.

At some places people showered flower petals as his convoy was slowly passing through the road. Modi is here to inaugurate the National Youth Festival at Railway Sports Ground on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary. Assembly elections are to be held in BJP-ruled Karnataka in May.
