Actress Swara Bhaskar has expressed anger over the brutal murder of a 28-year-old female live-in partner in Delhi's Mehrauli and then cutting her body into 35 pieces. He said that I have no words to speak on this scary, horrific and sad case. Swara Bhaskar has expressed hope that the police will act swiftly in this matter and get the accused punished.
Swara Bhaskar tweeted, "No words to express how scary, dangerous and tragic this case is. I am thinking of the girl whom he deceived, whom he loved and trusted. Hope the police will finish their investigation soon and also hope that the monster will get the harshest punishment.”
What is the whole matter?
Delhi Police has told that a person named Aftab Poonawala used to live in a live-in relationship with Shraddha Walker. In mid-May, there was a fight between the two over marriage, after which Aftab killed Shraddha. After this, the accused cut Shraddha's body into 35 pieces and threw them in the forests of Chhatarpur. Due to having a relationship with Aftab, Shraddha did not have a proper conversation with her family members. According to the complaint lodged by Shraddha's father in Mumbai, Aftab used to beat Shraddha and Shraddha had earlier told this to her family members.
Police took Aftab to Chhatarpur forest
Delhi Police took Aftab to Chhatarpur forest on Tuesday where he allegedly threw the body parts. A senior police officer said that under the investigation of this murder, accused Aftab Amin Poonawalla will be taken to some other places of the city besides the forest of Chhatarpur.
Police said that the accused had bought a fridge to keep the pieces of the body and he used to leave in the middle of the night to throw these pieces. According to the police, the accused had carefully planned to throw these pieces on the basis that which part of the body starts decomposing the earliest.
According to the police, 13 pieces have been recovered from the areas where the accused gave information about throwing the pieces of the dead body, but it will be confirmed only after forensic investigation whether they are related to the victim. The police have not yet found the weapon used in the murder.
