He said that the Delhi government has made a special plan to deal with vehicle pollution. For this, it has been instructed that petrol pumps should not give petrol to vehicles without pollution certificate. Some time has been given for this. But from October 25, no one will get petrol at the pump in Delhi without PUC. According to the standards that have been made keeping in mind the environment, if the pollution is spreading due to the smoke of the vehicle, then there is a pollution test to confirm this. The certificate which is given after this test is called PUC. This certificate is necessary for vehicles running on petrol or diesel in India.

Many actions taken to tackle pollution in Delhi

Let us tell you that to deal with the problem of pollution in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal has issued the Winter Action Plan of the Delhi Government. Due to this there has been a reduction in pollution. Also, both the thermal power plants in Delhi have been closed. Now there is no coal-fired power plant in Delhi. On the other hand, strict action has also been taken by the Delhi government on dust pollution. Heavy fines were imposed at the construction site where the rules were ignored.

Delhi moving towards green cover

The Delhi government claims that piped natural gas is now used in all registered industries. Because of this there is no pollution. Delhi is moving towards green cover. Kejriwal claims that when the Aam Aadmi Party government was formed, there was 20% green cover. Now 23.6%. Delhi government has brought electric vehicle policy, people are now buying electric vehicles.
