The crisis is deepening on Vodafone-Idea, a company called the country's largest mobile subscriber base. Actually Vodafone-Idea has a debt of about 10 thousand crores of tower companies. Out of this total debt of 10 thousand, the debt of 7 thousand crores is such that the company will have to return it as soon as possible. If the company is not able to do this then its network may come to a standstill.
26 crore customers will be affected
According to DoT data, the company had 259.21 million (about 26 crore) customers as of the end of April 2022. However, the subscriber base of the company has decreased by 1.6 million during this period. If the company is not able to pay 7 thousand rupees next month, then it will have a direct impact on these 26 crore customers.

Actually Indus Tower which provides tower connectivity to Vodafone-Idea. The company's outstanding of 7 thousand crores is on Vodafone-Idea. The company has told Vodafone-Idea in strong words that you will have to pay it as soon as possible. Otherwise, the company will not be able to use their tower from November.

If this happens, then Vodafone-Idea's difficulties will increase but it will benefit big market players like Reliance Jio and Airtel. But the question is of these 26 crore customers who use Vodafone-Idea's network. They will have to shift to another company's network to use the mobile.

But this bet also did not work much, although it did help in increasing the subscriber base, but the debt burden on the company kept increasing. Payments related to business activities have increased to about Rs 15,000 crore. The company is trying to raise 20 thousand crores through debt and equity but so far it has not been successful in this.
