Stage 1 - This is the first stage of sleep, which lasts for 5 to 10 minutes after sleeping. In this your eyes are closed, but you stay awake.
Stage 2 - This is the second stage of sleep. It can last for 10 to 25 minutes after sleeping. In this the person is half awake and half asleep.
Stage 3 - This is the most important stage of sleep. In which there is deep sleep. If this phase of your sleep is short, then you do not feel fresh even after waking up in the morning. If this phase is long or normal, you will feel completely fresh.
Stage 4 - Apart from these, there is also a fourth stage. Which is called REM i.e. Rapid Eye Movement. This is also the state between sleep and wakefulness, during which we dream.

Reason of insomnia or lack of sleep: These habits do not cause deep sleep.
Ayurvedic expert Dr. Diksha Bhavsar said that the following habits shorten your deep sleep stage. like-

  • wake up late
  • taking caffeine after 12 noon
  • sleep during the day
  • having a late or heavy dinner
  • not exercising
  • running mobile or laptop at night
  • sleeping after 11 pm
  • the stress
  • alcohol or smoking
  • irregular gold, etc.

  7. Writing a diary every night.
  8. Put 2 drops of cow's ghee in each nostril at night.
