Researchers have discovered specific bacteria and some chemicals responsible for the bacteria in the cervix, on the basis of which prematurity can be known. According to researchers, these special bacteria and some chemicals are found in the mother's cervix. These cause infection and inflammation which are responsible for premature birth of the baby.

Researchers hope that after this discovery, the technology to test for the identification of these chemicals and bacteria will soon be developed, so that premature birth can be treated in time.

Professor Andrew Shennan of King's College London said that our team has developed birth prediction tools, which can be accurately detected after some time of pregnancy. It can be ascertained whether the child will be born prematurely or not. Usually, during pregnancy, the cervix of women enlarges to protect the baby, but a few days before delivery, it becomes smaller and softer again. Let us tell you that if a woman becomes infected or swollen during pregnancy, then the cervix starts weakening prematurely. This is the reason why the child is born prematurely.
