In such a situation, the Tamil Nadu government has tried to give relief to them. Chief Minister MK Stalin has announced a Kovid-19 relief amount of 2000 rupees on Friday. Under this, the first installment of two thousand rupees will be sent to the account of rice ration card holders in May. For this, the state government has provided an amount of Rs 4153.69 crore. Not only this, the price of Aavin Milk Price operated by the state has been cut by up to three rupees. This will give people some convenience in the Corona period.

These announcements were made after MK Stalin took over as Chief Minister. After the DMK (DMK) victory in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Election, the party president Stalin issued his first order as chief minister. He announced to give 4 thousand rupees for the rice ration card holders. This amount will be given to them in two installments. The first installment will be sent to the ration card holders' account in May. This will benefit 2 crore 7 lakh 67 thousand card holders.

Corona can be treated in private hospitals

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu also announced to bring hospitals under the purview of the government insurance scheme so that people in private hospitals can get treatment of the Korana virus. This will not cause them to wander for treatment. Also, the burden of private hospital bills will not fall on his pocket.

Free travel facilities for women in buses

Before winning the election, DMK party president Stalin had said in the manifesto to work in the interest of women. Based on this, he allowed women to travel free of cost in all buses operated by the State Transport Corporation after becoming the Chief Minister. For this, the government has allocated 1200 crores as subsidy. This rule will be applicable from 8 May ie Saturday.
