Former IMA Director and Padma Shri Dr. KK Aggarwal passed away due to covid-19


Dr. KK Aggarwal, who was awarded the Padma Shri and former Director of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), died on Monday in AIIMS, New Delhi. 
He lost the long battle going on from Corona. The 62-year-old doctor was undergoing treatment at AIIMS for the past several days, last week he was put on ventilator support. Doctor KK Aggarwal was one of the best cardiologists, besides he was the head of Heart Care Foundation of India. He was awarded the Dr. BC Roy Award in the year 2005, while in the year 2010 he was awarded the Padma Shri.

Doctor KK Aggarwal had been posting videos about the corona epidemic for the last one year. In these videos, he talked about the management and different aspects of the corona epidemic. A statement posted on his Twitter said that he died in the hospital at 11:30 pm on Monday.

Doctor KK Aggarwal kept on making people aware

During the epidemic, he tried his best to make people aware. Through many videos and his message, he reached 100 million people. He saved the lives of countless people. The statement said that he wanted to celebrate his life and not grieve.

4524 new corona cases registered in Delhi
