Covid-19: Can a coronated mother breastfeed her baby, know what is the opinion of doctors

After the rapid spread of corona virus, a lot of questions are going on in the minds of pregnant women and women who have recently given birth to a newborn baby.
Does this deadly virus enter the mother's child's body as well? Can a corona-infected mother breastfeed the baby? Many such questions are circulating in his mind. Press Information Bureau organized a webinar about this disease where doctors busted many myths about coronovirus disease.

Keep these things in mind

1. The mother must always wear a mask. Apart from this, the rules of hygiene have to be followed in breathing.

2. Wash hands before and after taking newborn. This will have to be done regularly every time.

3. Take special care of cleanliness in all the places where you are going to take your child to the home or hospital.

What does the CDC report say

A report by the CDC (Central for Disease Control and Prevention) states that in so far cases of women with corona virus who have given birth to infants, children were not found to be infected with corona virus. Also, this virus has not been found in mother's milk as well. For breast-feeding mothers, an N-95 mask, a face shield, is recommended as it is not appropriate to apply a mask (covering the nose) on the baby.

"It is not advisable to use masks on newborns until they are at least two years of age." Even if it does, it is very difficult to assess whether this infection occurs in the child. The rate of infection from a mother, or from someone else in pregnancy, has gone to a high level in the last 15 months, like every other patient. These patients account for 93–95% of mild cases. There is no need to panic. But, if the patient is suffering from some disease like hypertension, diabetes, then it can have its effect in the child as well.
