Thane Hospital Fire: 4 patients died in hospital in Thane, Maharashtra


Four patients have died during shifting after a massive fire broke out in a private hospital (Fire broke out at Mumbra Thane Hospital) located in Mumbra area in Thane, Maharashtra. According to the news, this fire was started at 3.40 am. After the fire, about 20 patients were shifted to a safe place, but 4 patients in critical condition succumbed during this period. The situation is not clear yet, but many patients are also said to be injured in this incident. Relief and rescue operations are currently underway.

According to the ANI, there was a fire in the morning at the Prime Criticare Hospital in Kausa in Mumbra area of ​​Thane district. Mumbra-Kalwa MLA and State Housing Minister Dr. Jitendra Awhad has reached the spot to take stock of the situation. Jitendra Awhad said that the cause of the fire is not known at present and rescue work is going on. Patients died not from burns during the shift to another place. Two fire extinguishers are present at the scene while patients are being shifted through a vehicle.

Earlier in Virar, on April 21, 13 people died after the fire broke out in Apastal.
