Driving license will now be made without going RTO, new guidelines released

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has changed the guidelines regarding Driving License to make it possible for people to at least get out of the house due to the Corona disaster.

Now you can complete the work related to driving license like sitting at home, making a learning license, renewing the driving license and much more. Now you do not need to go round RTO for these works. If you want to get a learner's license, then the entire process for this will be done online. According to the new license, all the work will be online, from the application to the printing.

You can use Learner's License and Driving License Surrender and Renewal for Electronic Certificate and other documents.

RC process also became easy 

The Transport Ministry has also made the process of registration certificate for the new car easier. RC (Registration Certificate) can be renewed only in advance period of 60 days. At the same time, the deadline for temporary registration has also been fixed from 1 month to 6 months.

How to get a learner's license 

The government has made changes in the process for the learner's license. According to the new rule, there is no need to go to RTO to get a Learner Driving License now. This work can be completed by sitting at home through a tutorial.

Decision taken due to Corona epidemic 

It is evident that due to the second wave of Corona epidemic in the country, getting out of the house is not safe. Lockdown and curfew are being imposed in many states as a precaution. In such a situation, making the process of driving license available online is a great step.

Apart from this, now customers will get 18 services related to RTO sitting online. It includes application for learner's license, renewal of driving license, application for duplicate driving license, change of address in driving license and certificate of registration (RC), obtaining international driving license permit, surrender of one class of vehicle from the license, motor vehicle The application for temporary registration and registration of motor vehicle with a fully built body is included.
