Delhi Covid update: CM Arvind Kejriwal's big decision, people above 18 years of age will get free vaccine

The Delhi government has taken a major decision amid the increasing cases of Corona in the capital.
In fact, the Kejriwal government has decided to give free vaccine to all people above the age of 18 years. CM Arvind Kejriwal said that today we have approved the purchase of 1.34 crore vaccine. We will try to ensure that this vaccine is purchased as soon as possible and that the vaccine is delivered to the people free of cost.

CM Kejriwal further said that I appeal to the vaccine makers to reduce the price of this vaccine to 150 rupees / dose. He said that you have a lifetime to earn profits. Presently, given the situation in the capital, this is not the time to make a profit. He said that I also appeal to the Central Government to fix the price (of vaccines) if needed.

He said that we are seeing that children under the age of 18 are also getting infected in this wave of Corona. Some have killed this virus. Now the time has come for them to think as well. If these vaccines are safe and effective for them, then they should be given them. If not, I hope that soon new vaccines will be developed which will be effective and safe for children.

Kovid patient number  close to one lakh

According to the statistics of the Health Ministry on Sunday, the number of active cases in Delhi is approaching one lakh. There are currently 93,080 active corona patients in the national capital. The bulletin states that 22,695 patients have recovered from Corona in the last 24 hours. In Delhi, 74,702 corona samples were tested on the previous day and Kovid-19 vaccine was given to 35,455 people.
