In Chhattisgarh, the corona is continuously spreading its legs. The situation in the state is so bad that there is less space in the crematorium. If there is space then the wood is getting less. There was such a shortage of wood in Raipur that it was called from other districts. Lockdown is in force in 20 districts of Chhattisgarh to prevent corona. Only 8 districts remain from lockdown.

The first lockdown was imposed on 6 April in Durg district. So far, 20 districts of the state are completely closed. However, the date and time period for lockdown in these districts is different.

Where was the lockdown

There is a lockdown in Durg district from 6 April to 19 April. There is a 10-day lockdown in Raipur from 9 April to 19 April. Lockdown has been started in Rajnandgaon, Bemetara and Balod districts from April 10 to April 19. There is a lockdown in Jashpur from 11 April to 18 April. There is a lockdown in Balodabazar from 11 April to 21 April. Lockdown has been started in Korea from 11 April to 19 April.

There is a lockdown in Korba from 12 April to 21 April and in Dhamtari from 26 April. Lockdown has been imposed from 14 April to 22 April in Raigad and Mahasamund districts. Lockdown has been started from 13 April to 23 April in Gariaband, Surajpur, Janjgir and Surguja. Lockdown has been started from 14 April to 21 April in Bilaspur, Mungeli and Pendra. There is a lockdown in Balrampur district from 14 April to 25 April.

Record cases in Chhattisgarh

On Tuesday, 15,121 new cases were reported in Chhattisgarh. This is the worst case of a single day in 2021. After the new cases, the total number has increased to 471,994. The capital Raipur had the highest number of 4169 new cases. There were 1,755 new cases of infection in the fort.

In the last 24 hours, 156 people have lost their lives, after which the total number of deaths has gone up to 5,187. In the last 24 hours, 4,682 people got cured, after which the total number of people who got cured increased to 357,668. Active cases have increased to 109,139.
