CBSE Board Exam 2021: CBSE 12th exam postponed, 10th canceled, decision taken after PM Modi's meeting


CBSE Board Exam 2021: Coronavirus outbreak is spreading rapidly, in view of which Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday convened a high-level meeting regarding CBSE exams. 
A big decision has been taken in this meeting. CBSE Board 12th examination has been postponed and the decision to cancel 10th examination has been taken. According to the information, the examination of the 10th has been canceled on the initiative of PM Modi. Whereas the intention of the Education Minister and all the officials of the Ministry was to postpone the 10th examination.

In view of the ever increasing cases, the demand for cancellation of examinations started to arise. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also demanded to postpone the examinations. The CBSE board had also decided to discuss this with other union territories. Apart from this, many big personalities including Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi had demanded postponement or cancellation of the board examination.

12th examinations postponed

The CBSE board has postponed the examinations of class 12. The first 12th exams were to be held from May 4 to June 14. The board will hold a review meeting on June 1 for further dates. According to the information, the date sheet will be informed 15 days in advance. Information about this has been provided by the Ministry of Education.

How will the result of 10th

It has been decided to cancel the CBSE Class 10 exams after two lakh cases a day in the country. These examinations were also to be held from May 4 to June 14. Now the question arises as to how the result of the 10th will be prepared again. CBSE says that a set criteria will be made for it and the result will be prepared on the basis of that. If a student is not satisfied, he will be given a chance to appear in the exam. However, this test will be possible only when the conditions are normal.

Examination canceled due to PM Modi's initiative

In the meeting held with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the consensus was that the 10th and 12th examinations should be postponed for the time being. But later PM Modi told Nishank and other officials that children should be promoted on the basis of assessment by canceling the 10th examination. The 12th exam should be postponed.

10th children facing mental pressure

The PM said that the children of 10th have been facing mental pressure already. Therefore, they should be promoted on the basis of internal assessment. The Prime Minister also said that children and parents have been troubled since the last year. They should help us. The PM also said that whenever the 12th examination is to be taken, it should be kept in mind that the students get full time for preparation.
