The Delhi government on Thursday released the holiday list for the academic session of government and private schools of the capital on Thursday, 15 April 2021 by the Directorate of Education, according to which a summer holiday has been declared from 11 May to 30 June. However, 28, 29 and 30 June will be working days for teachers. The autumn break will be from 12 to 14 October 2021 and the winter vacation will be from 1 January to 15 January 2022.
Let us know that the new academic session 2021-22 has started in the schools of Delhi from April 1, 2021. Teaching of various classes in schools is being conducted in online mode. However, the government had clarified that students from 9th to 12th will not be called for classes or exams.
According to the education directorate update, no students from 9th to 12th will be called in physical form for examinations, practical or any other academic or non-academic tasks.
Exemption to call vacation staff
At the same time, an official statement said that during the period of leave, the heads of schools have been given the right to call the staff as per the requirement for any school related work (academic, admission, examination etc.). During this time it will be mandatory to maintain the appropriate COVID behavior and follow the standard operating procedure (SOP) issued. That is, it is necessary to follow the Kovid-19 guidelines. Vacation workers called for duty during this period will be eligible for arned (earned) leave as per CCS Leave Rules 1972.
