Actress Helen McCrory, who plays Draco Malfoy's mother Narcissa Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, has said goodbye to the world. She was 52 years old and was battling a major illness like cancer. Helen's death was announced on Friday by her husband, Damien Lewis. Writing a post on Twitter, Damien said Helen took her last breath at home among the family.
"I am heartbroken to hear that Helen McCrory, a beautiful and powerful woman, has said goodbye to the world despite her strenuous fight against cancer," Damien writes. He passed away at his home amidst the love of friends and family. He died the same way he lived his life. God knows that we love him so much and consider ourselves fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend time with him in our lives. It shone so brightly, now flowing with the air. Thank you.
Hollywood celebs and makers of his film and TV shows have paid tribute to Helen McCrory since her death. Mourning has spread in Bollywood after the news of Helen's demise. Director Hansal Mehta has also expressed grief. Tribute is also sent by tweeting.
