Mahashivratri 2021: Mahadev will soon be pleased if you do worship like this, but don't forget these rules

Mahashivaratri, the day of special worship of Mahadev and Mata Parvati, occurs every year on the Chaturdashi date of the Krishna Paksha of Phalgun month.
This time Mahashivratri will be celebrated tomorrow i.e. on 11 March. It is believed that Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati were married on this day.

In such a situation, if both are worshiped by law, then Mahadev is very happy and fulfills every wish of the devotees. If you too keep a fast for Mahadev-Parvati on this day, then keep in mind the things being told here during their worship, so that Mahadev and Mata Parvati can be pleased and receive their blessings in full.

1. On the day of Mahashivaratri, do worship of Shivling. Even in the scriptures, the worship of Shivling is considered to be the best.

2. If worship of Shivling is done during Pradosh period, then it is considered very good. It is believed that Lord Shiva himself resides on the Shivling during the Pradosh period. Pradosh Kaal is considered to be about an hour before sunset and about an hour after sunset.

3. During worship, offer white flowers to Mahadev. Offering flowers of mudar is considered very auspicious. If possible, wear red or white colored clothes yourself during the puja.

4. Mahadev is also pleased by offering Belpatra and Dhatura. Before offering the bell-sheet, write Namav Shivaay on it with sandalwood. Also offer them intact.

5. Before worshiping Mahadev, worship Nandi and if possible, feed green bulls to an ox on this day.

6. Awakening in the night of Shivaratri has special significance. You should also sit with the spine straight this night and meditate on Mahadev.

Do not forget these mistakes

1. Do not accept things climbed on Shivling.

2. Do Jalabhishek lotus of Mahadev or with any Kalash. Do not forget about the conch.

3. Do not use Tulsi, Champa or Ketki flowers in the worship of Mahadev.

4. Do not cheat anyone's evil on this day. Do not insult anyone.

5. Do not wear black clothes during worship.
