How To Get Started Post Office Internet Banking

  • You have to go to the post office and apply for it. After that your netbanking will become active.
  • When internet banking is activated, an SMS alert will be sent to your mobile.
  • After that you have to go to India Post's netbanking site and activate it through 'New User Activation' hyperlink.
  • For this you need to have your customer ID or CIF ID and account ID.

The whole process of using post office internet banking

Step-1: Go to Post's website (www.indiapost.gov.in).

Step-2: Go to the option given in the left side and click on the option of online banking.

Step-3: You will then need to allow redirects to open a new window on the browser. Click on OK on it .

Step-4: Now you have to login using your user ID and password.

Step-5: If you do not have a NetBanking User ID, click on the New User Activation option given below in the window .

Step-6: After that you will be asked for Customer ID and Account ID. Register it and click on the Continue button.

Step-7: Some more information about your account will be requested. After entering the requested information you will be asked to generate a password.

Step-8: After generating the password, your net banking user ID and password will be activated. You can use it to login to the account.
