Playing and loving with cats may be overwhelming, you may be a victim of these serious diseases

In Kanpur, UP, a five-year-old girl fell victim to the rare disease Tasco paracanis.
The disease caused him to play with cats. Which later tore off one of the girl's eyelids. The hobby of playing and living with cats robbed the girl of her light.

After a long treatment, the light in the eyes slowly returned

The girl underwent a lengthy treatment at GSVM Medical College which has since returned to normal. Doctors there have claimed that this is the third case of the disease in this country. Doctors have sent an American Journal to study the case.

The doctors thought it was an infection and gave him some medicine

Jamia, a five-year-old girl from Kanpur Ghantaghar, had three cats at her house. The girl had been living with cats since she was two or three years old. When she woke up one day in June 2020, she had blurred vision in her eyes. After a few days, his eyes started turning red. The doctors thought it was an infection and gave him some medicine. After which the girl's light went out.

Infection with the tinea candis parasite

The girl's family took her to the doctors of the eye department of the medical college. There, department head Pervez Khan did some tests which later showed that the baby was living with a cat. As soon as he learned to play with cats, the doctor became aware of Taxo paracanis. The test revealed that Tinia Candice was infected with the parasite. Which has torn off a veil of the eye. The infection is transmitted from cat feces to the human eye. Which is considered very dangerous.

Steroids and antipyretics were also used to control the disease

Prof. Chairman, Department of Ophthalmology, GSVM Medical College. Pervez Khan said that optical coherence tomography showed in the test that the retina had been removed. Some steroids and antipyretics have also been used to treat the disease. The baby's light is returning after 6 months of continuous treatment. No operation required. This is the third case of Taxo paracanis in India in connection with the Kanpur incident.
