Good news for railway passengers: luggage will reach your seat in the train from home, new service will start soon

Most people use trains for transportation in the country.
In public transport, it is considered to be the cheapest and easiest means. The railway network in the country is also very large and it has access to everything from small villages to big cities and metros. This is the reason why most people travel by trains rather than bus, car or flight.

To travel by train, it is necessary to reach the station before time. If the station is far away, one has to leave the house much earlier. If you are empty, that is, you do not have much stuff, then there is no problem, but if the family is together and there is more stuff then it becomes difficult. Many times we are late due to excess luggage.

Just think how good it is when you don't have to worry about carrying goods from the station to the house. That is, your heavy luggage reaches the seat of the train and for this you do not have to take tension! Is not it amazing! The security of the goods should also be guaranteed and sanitization during the Corona period. Such a facility is going to start soon.

This service will start from these stations

There is a plan to start this facility at the Ahmedabad railway station in the country this month. After this, will begin in Bengaluru and Nagpur. According to a report by Prabhat Khabar , it will also be started from Patna Junction of East Central Railway (ECR). This system is going to be started by the Indian Railways. According to this, the railway passengers will no longer need to bring goods from home to the railway station and take them back from the station to their home.

According to the report, passengers traveling by train will not have the tension to carry goods from their home or from station to home. With this, there will be no need to lubricate the fare from the porter at the station. The rate of porter is determined by the railways at many stations, but if you do not know, you can be cheated.

When will this facility start?

This facility of carrying luggage between your house and station is going to start soon. According to reports, the Danapur Railway Division of East Central Railway has approved this new facility. It is being told that Book and Baggage.com agency has got the responsibility to start this facility from Danapur division. According to reports, it is likely to start in Patna by the last week of February. That is, your tension is going to end soon.

How will your luggage be booked?

According to the media report, the rail passengers will be able to book on the agency's website. Along with this, if you want, you can also book from the agency's mobile app. The agency's app is available on the Google Play Store, from where you can download it on your mobile. It will have the option of booking.

After clicking on the booking, you will have to give the weight of your bag, its size and other information. Accordingly, you will be charged. The fee will be fixed according to the distance and weight from the station.

Starting at Rs 125, online tracking of goods will also be possible

According to the media report, the maximum distance for this facility will be 50 kilometers i.e. the maximum distance from the station to the house should be 50 kilometers. The fee will start from 125 rupees. For a distance of 10 kilometers, the fee for a bag of minimum 10 kg weight will be Rs 125. There will also be a prescribed fee of the porter to carry goods to your seat in the train.

If you have five goods, then the first charge will be Rs 125, while for the remaining items a fee of Rs 50-50 will be charged. It is being told that the agency will also be responsible for wrapping and sanitizing the goods in view of Corona. You will also be able to track your goods in your mobile app. Along with this, your luggage insurance will also be covered.
