India could be whitewashed in Test series against Australia: Vaughan

Former England captain Michael Vaughan says India could face a 0-4 defeat in the four-match Test series against Australia.
The Indian cricket team is set to face a trio of Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins, Michael Vaughan said. They have to play with the new Kukabura ball. If they fail to do so, Australia will become stronger and more aggressive.

"The Pink Ball Test will be the most important match of the series," he said. If the Australian team wins in Adelaide, Virat Kohli will not be in the next three Tests and Australia can win the series 4-0.

Vaughan said the kangaroo team has improved a lot since India toured Australia in 2018-19. Earlier, Vaughan had said that India could face defeat in all three formats (T20, ODI and Test series) on the tour of Australia. However, his prediction was wrong. India lost the ODI series but won the T20 series 2-1.

India and Australia will now play a series of four Test matches. Starting December 17 in Adelaide. The Test match between India and Australia in Adelaide will be a day-night Test match. India will play its second day-night Test and its first day-night test match in Australia.
