India defeated Australia by 11 runs in the first match of the three-match T20 series at Canberra ground between India and Australia. The Australian team, looking to chase the 162-run target given by India, looked trapped from the start and the team could only score 150 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Captain Aaron Finch was the most successful batsman for Australia, who scored 35 runs. Apart from this, his opener Darcy Short scored 34 runs. Apart from these two, no Australian batsman could play them.
