T20 WC 2024: India beat Pakistan by 6 runs in a thrilling match, Jasprit Bumrah spread magic with the ball

 


 In the 19th match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, India defeated Pakistan by 6 runs with the help of Jasprit Bumrah 's brilliant bowling. Jasprit Bumrah, who came to bowl the 19th over of the innings, gave only 3 runs and took one wicket. Pakistan had to score 18 runs to win in the last over but Arshdeep gave 11 runs and took one wicket. India lost their last 6 wickets within 30 runs. In this match played at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York, Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bowl first. 

Batting first, the entire Indian team collapsed at a score of 119 in 19 overs. Rishabh Pant scored the highest 42(31) runs from India's bat. He hit 6 fours in this innings. Axar Patel contributed 20(18) runs. In his innings, he hit 2 fours and a six. Pant and Axar shared a 39(30) run partnership for the third wicket. Captain Rohit Sharma scored 13 runs in 12 balls with the help of a four and a six. Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah took the highest 3-3 wickets from Pakistan's side. Mohammad Aamir took one wicket. Shaheen Afridi got one wicket. 

Chasing the target, Pakistan could only score 113 runs in 20 overs losing 7 wickets. Mohammad Rizwan played an innings of 31 runs in 44 balls with the help of 1 four and 1 six. Imad Wasim scored 15 runs in 23 balls with the help of 1 four. Fakhar Zaman scored 13 runs in 8 balls with the help of 1 four and 1 six and captain Babar scored 13 runs in 10 balls with the help of 2 fours. Jaspreet Bumrah took the maximum 3 wickets from India's side. Hardik Pandya got 2 wickets. Axar Patel and Arshdeep got one wicket each.
