India alliance will not stake claim to form government, Kharge said- will wait for the right time


After the Lok Sabha election results, a meeting of the India Alliance was held on Wednesday. After this, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge spoke to the media. Attacking the BJP, he said that this public opinion is against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The election was fought on his name and face. The public has given a clear message about his leadership by not giving the BJP a majority.

After the Lok Sabha election results, a meeting of the India Alliance was held on Wednesday. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi as well as leaders of the alliance partners attended it. After the meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge spoke to the media. On the claim of forming the government, he said that the right time is awaited. Along with this, he also attacked PM Modi.

Attacking the BJP, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, the public opinion of the 18th Lok Sabha elections is against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The election was fought on his name and face. The public has given a clear message about his leadership by not giving the BJP a majority. This mandate is personally against Narendra Modi. Along with this, it is his political defeat.

They will do everything possible to dissuade this public opinion.

Kharge said that this is also his (PM Modi's) moral defeat. But, we all are aware of his habits. He will try his best to deny this public opinion. From here, we also send a message that India Alliance welcomes all those political parties who have unwavering faith in the preamble of the Constitution of India.

'Alliance leaders discussed the political situation in the country'

He said that in the meeting, the leaders of India Alliance discussed the ongoing political situation in the country. Many suggestions have come up in our meeting. After the meeting, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Sanjay Raut said that all the members of the alliance were present in the meeting. Our unity which was there before the elections is still the same today.

'Time will tell how long this consensus will last'

He said that the mandate we have received is against those who practice dictatorship. When we get a chance, we will take steps to fulfill our desire to change this government. On Prime Minister Modi being unanimously elected as the leader in the NDA meeting, he said that how long this consensus will last will be known in the coming time.
