HDFC ERGO's 'My: Health Suraksha' policy currently has many variants in the market. Now the company has withdrawn the plans of 'Gold', 'Platinum' and 'Silver' variants. However, these plans will remain active till the renewal date of the policy.

Customers will not suffer losses like this

According to the news of ET, the company says that those customers whose policy is to be renewed on or after August 7, 2024, can shift to the company's new health insurance plan HDFC Ergo Optima Restore Plan.

The company has also made it clear that if any customer has received any bonus on the three policies which have been discontinued, then there will be no loss on shifting them to the new policy. Their bonus will be transferred at the time of renewal of the new policy.

Not only this, customers will continue to get access to all those hospitals which they were getting under their previous policy. While the features of these policies are almost the same, there is not expected to be much impact on the premium of the customers.

HDFC Ergo has not given any reason for discontinuing these policies.
