A 24-year-old girl got so engrossed in talking to her family on the phone that she didn't even realize when she plucked a poisonous flower while walking in the garden and ate it. The very next day he died in pain in the hospital.

A girl also got so engrossed in it while talking to her family on the phone that she did not even realize when she plucked a poisonous flower while walking in the garden and ate it. He died the very next day.

Obviously, you must be wondering how a flower can kill someone. Actually, the girl had accidentally chewed the flower of Oleander i.e. Arli which is very poisonous. According to the report of The New Indian Express, 24-year-old Surya Surendaran from Alappuzha district had got a job as a nurse in the UK. To go there, she reached Kochi Airport on Sunday. But suddenly she fell unconscious.

After this, Surya was immediately taken to the hospital, but he died in agony on the very next day. Before she died, she had told the doctors and family that before coming to the airport on Sunday, she was talking to relatives and friends on the phone. During this time he accidentally chewed Arli flower. But upon realizing it, he immediately spit it out. But by then the poisonous element of the flower had entered the girl's stomach. Even in the post mortem report, Arli flower has been mentioned as the cause of death.

Doctors told the family that no part of the flower was found in their daughter's stomach, but there were some poisonous substances in the blood. Dr. Benil Kottakkal, who has studied the toxicity of Arali flower, says that Nerium oleander contains alkaloids, which affect the human heart.
