An increase of more than 2 percent is being seen in the shares of Kotak Bank and Axis Bank. Bajaj Auto shares are also rising by more than 2 percent.
Sensex at record level
The stock market started swinging after 1.30 pm. Bombay Stock Exchange's main index Sensex crossed 74100 points with a rise of more than 400 points. The special thing is that Sensex has reached record high for the second time in the first week of March. According to BSE data, at 2:24 pm the Sensex has reached a record level of 74106.6 points. At 2:50 pm, the Sensex is trading at 74,049.85 points with a gain of 372.72 points. Earlier in the morning, Sensex had opened with a fall at 73,587.70 points and came to the lower level of the day at 73,321.48 points.
Nifty also at new high
On the other hand, Nifty 50, the main index of the National Stock Exchange, has also reached a new record level. According to the data, Nifty reached the level of 22,448.40 points during the trading session. Currently, at 2:55 pm, Nifty reached 22,438.25 points with a rise of 81.95 points. By the way, this morning Nifty opened at 22,327.50 points. During the trading session, Nifty also reached the day's lower level with 22,224.35 points. In the current year, Nifty investors have got returns of more than 3 percent.
