IAS Promotion: Gift of promotion to 55 IAS officers, promoted to the post of Under Secretary, pay scale will also increase, order issued

 

Bihar IAS Promotion 2024:   After the IPS-IAS transfers, now the Nitish Kumar government of Bihar has given the gift of promotion to 55 IAS officers. The state government has promoted 55 officers of the Indian Administrative Service to the level of Under Secretary in 2023. The General Administration Department has issued a notification in this regard. All of them are IAS officers of 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 batch.

These 55 IAS officers got the gift of promotion

•  Director cum Joint Secretary of Land Acquisition, Revenue and Land Reforms Department Sushil Kumar, Joint Secretary of Revenue and Land Reforms Department Kishori Chaudhary, Secretary of State Election Authority Purushottam Paswan, Joint Secretary of Rural Affairs Department Ujjwal Kumar Singh.
• Vinay Kumar Rai, Director of Tourism Directorate as well as Joint Secretary of Road Construction Department, deputed on additional charge, Katihar Settlement Officer Naresh Kumar Jha, Governor's Secretariat Officer on Special Duty Sanjay Kumar.
• Joint Secretary of Water Resources Department Shashank Shekhar Sinha, Secretary of Raj Election Commission Mukesh Kumar Sinha, Joint Secretary of Public Health Engineering Nirmal Kumar, Kishanganj Settlement Officer Shiv Kumar Shaiv.
• Dhirendra Paswan, Joint Secretary of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department, Arvind Mandal, Joint Secretary of Rural Development Department, Anil Chaudhary, Municipal Commissioner of Madhubani Municipal Corporation, Vishwanath Chaudhary, Settlement Officer of Saharsa and Brajesh Kumar, Settlement Officer of Madhepura.
