The puja ritual of consecration has started in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya from 16 January 2024 and 22 January is a historic and emotional day for Ram devotees. At this time the country is resounding with the praise of Shri Ram. But Ram is not just a god embedded in people's emotions in whom only faith can be kept, but Shri Ram is truly a great man, who teaches the way to live life, whether it is maintaining relationships or promises, hence this saying. Even today it is said that “Raghukul tradition has always been followed, life may go but words may not go”, even Kaushalya Nandan respected his enemy and had no hesitation in considering himself knowledgeable of Ravana.
Even today it is often heard that Ram Rajya will be established. This does not mean the rule of any religion, caste or any particular community, rather it means uniting everyone together and establishing a state where love, peace, happiness and brotherhood prevail everywhere. Lord Ram is considered to be the seventh incarnation of the protector Shri Hari Vishnu and his birth was to destroy unrighteousness and establish righteousness. Shri Ram is worshiped as God, but if his ideals are implemented in life then the true way of living life can be learned. Because while Shri Ram was the coordinator of relationships, Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram is the best man who taught us everything from keeping promises to facing the enemy and rising above caste.
Lord Shri Ram has 16 qualities of being a great man.
In the Ramayana written by Maharishi Valmiki, 16 qualities have been described in Lord Shri Ram which are the most important principles of leadership and make him an ideal man in this world. When Maharishi Valmiki asks Narad ji that who in this world is a virtuous and skillful person, knowledgeable about religion, grateful, truthful and strict in fasting and who is rich in character and who is beneficial to all living beings, who is that person? Who is learned and is exceptionally pleasant and restrained. Who is the one who has conquered anger and is radiant and who does not have jealousy? What are the gods afraid of when they become angry in war? Then, answering his question, Narad ji says that O Maharishi, all these qualities are present in Shri Ram, born in the Ikshvaku dynasty.
These are the sixteen qualities
Good, virtuous, religious, grateful, truthful, steadfast, characterful, learned, capable, Sadyak Priyadarshan, soulful, victorious, radiant, unsuspecting, bibhyati devascha jataroshya sangyuge. Lord Shri Ram had spread harmony through all these qualities during his lifetime.
Shri Ram teaches the lesson of harmony
The mythological story of Mata Shabari is found, in which the love and devotion of the devotee towards God and God towards the devotee is depicted. In which it is told that Mother Shabari plucks plums for her Lord Ram with love and after tasting them, feeds them to Ramji so that the sour plum does not accidentally enter his mouth. Ram ji also happily accepts plum out of love for his devotee. If we look at the basic objective of this story, it is to eliminate caste discrimination. Similarly, the story of the boatman is also found in the Ayodhya episode of Ramayana when boatman Nishadraj helps Lord Ram and Mother Sita cross the Ganga in his boat.
Lord Shri Ram is the coordinator of relationships, teaches to keep promises
Lord Ram teaches that no matter what the situation is, one should never step back in maintaining relationships. When Kaikeyi asks for 14 years of exile for Ram ji, King Dasharatha orders his eldest son Ram to go to the forest. Following his father's orders, Ram happily agrees to go to the forest. During this time, younger brother Lakshman and mother Sita also accompany him. When Shatrughan goes to take his elder brother back to Ayodhya, Lord Rama refuses to go with him and resides in the forest to fulfill the promise given to his father. In this way, Ram ji also teaches us to fulfill our vows while respecting relationships.
Lord Ram inspires not to lose courage even in bad situations.
When Ravana abducts Mother Sita by deceit in the Aranyak forest, Lord Rama becomes distraught due to the separation from his better half Sita, but even in that situation he does not lose courage and Nal-Neel, Bajrangbali, Sugriva's monkey army. Together they sound the conch of war and kill Ravana and establish Ram's kingdom. In this way Lord Ram explains the feeling of not losing courage in every situation and strength in unity.
Respected even the enemy
In today's time, there is no dignity in relationships nor is there a sense of respect in them and one's own self has become the enemy of one's own, but Shri Ram Ji taught in his life how to respect not only relationships but even the enemy. should keep. There is an incident in mythology that when Ravana was on his death bed, Ram ji asked his younger brother Lakshman to go and take some knowledge from Ravana. Then Ravana had given three lessons that one should not delay in auspicious actions, one should try to avoid inauspicious actions and one should not be so blinded by ego that one starts underestimating the enemy. In this way Lord Ram also taught to respect the enemy.
